Supercharged 509 Big Block Chevy built by Madcap
Motorsports.
Bowtie Pro stock block, Cola 4340 polished crank. Manley
4340 6135 rods, Brodex-2 heads with S.S. Valves, Ross pistons
8:1, full floating pins, Childs and Albert zero gap rings, Comp
Cams CB300BR-14 cam with Crower lifters, Crane aluminum
roller rockers, Manley chrome moly push rods, Littlefield 4340
billet crank hub, Littlefield 8:71 supercharger/Manifold 14MM
pulleys, 2- Holley 850 carbs, Enderle supercharger linkage,
Meziere electric water pump, Barry-Grant fuel pump and
filters, Kuhl oil pan, Pete Jackson gear drive, ARP S.S. 12 point
fasteners, MSD electronic ignition with 6AL box and MSD Pro
coil.
Transmission:
Built TH400 with Art Carr reverse shift pattern, 3000 stall
converter. Hurst pro stick shifter with Line Lock.
Chassis:
Custom built chassis by Progressive Automotive, Box Tube
steel frame rails built to factory Chevy Master coupe
wheelbase and factory width. Fat Man drop axle with single
buggy leaf spring, Flaming River steering box, Baer dual piston
caliper disc brakes front and rear, Marc Williams 9” third
member with 1 ¼” axles, 31 spline locker with 3:89 gears.
Centerline wheels with Mickey Thompson tires, Rear
31x16x15. Front 195/65/15
Paint:
PPG epoxy prime coat, PPG Black paint with custom blue true
fire flames, 5 coats PPG Clear.
BODY:
1934 Original steel body, Grill shell and insert, Master style
coupe. Body modification’s include rear tail pan has been
bobbed, Top chopped 3 ½”, Body is Channeled over the frame,
custom built fire wall and Engine tucked in, so factory wheel
bas stayed with factory specs. The cowl vent is operable by
power, Rear window is operable by manual roll down, all
wood has been removed and custom replaced with steel, Roof
filled in to make a full hard top, Rear wheels tubbed in, Trunk,
operable from latch inside cab, all exterior handles have been
shaved and replaced with door poppers with auto entry,
Battery and car stereo with amp are in cab behind seats in
